Dear Simon and Sanjeev, the internet has made communication much easier for a lot of people. People still love telling stories but they now have a lot of choices about how they are going to do it.

    Dear Mrs Chapman,
Communication has changed a lot over time.
“In the olden days there were no telephones but now in these days there are telephones.” Daniel
“WHen there were no phones you had to make them out of a cup like the picture we saw. I don’t quite know how they work but it looks very interesting.” Joshua P.
“My daddy came in and showed us the ‘brick’ phone. I think it is a brick and they stuck the buttons on them.” Harry
“In the old times there used to be no computers and they used a type writer.” Sabina
“In the olden days there was no internet to use. Once you had to read them in books from the library.” Christian

Thank you for makiing us think a little deeper.
    Love the Preppies
    xoxo

Dear Foundies, I’m glad the timeline of communication helped your thinking. The ideas you came up with were very interesting. Mrs Chapman

    Hi Mrs Chapman!
I think that the telephone was the most important invention because it improved communication throughout the world. If we didn’t have the mobile phone or the telephone, we would have to meet with everyone in person. Also, imagine if your family was living overseas. How would you talk to them?

    Elena 😉

    • August 16th, 2013 at 9:45 am      Reply cchapman Says:

Hi Elena, the telephone has certainly made a big difference to keeping in touch with our families that are overseas. It is lovely to pick up the phone and talk to family and friends. I agree with you. Mrs Chapman

    Hello Mrs. Chapman,
I think that T-V’s have changed a massive amount because we now have colour in out T-V’s and now we dont have small 1 quarter T-V’s we now have 1 meter by 1 and a half meter T-V’s.
